(with a corporate address of 643 Manley Street, West Bridgewater, Massachusetts 02379) is submitting a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit application for a new industrial stormwater discharge at their Facility (located at 621 Black Avenue, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania 17201). This public notice of intent is meant to notify the people of Franklin County, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and to comply with the requirements of Section 307 of the Pennsylvania Clean Streams Law. Run-off from the Facility will discharge to two catch basins which are presumed to tie into the Chambersburg Municipal Stormwater System which is treated at the Chambersburg Waste Water Plant. NOTICE Please take notice that the Board of Supervisors of East Hanover Township, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, scheduled a Public Hearing for Monday, December 18, 2023 at 7:00 p.m., East Hanover Township Bldg. 1117 School House Road, Annville, PA 17003 regarding modifications to East Hanover Township Zoning Ordinance. The earliest the East Hanover Township Supervisors may take formal action to adopt the proposed zoning amendments is Monday, December 18, 2023, at the regularly scheduled meeting at 7:30 p.m. A summary of the amendments to the zoning ordinance are as follows: 1) to provide a definition for "Short-Term Rental"; and 2) to permit short-term rentals as a permitted use in the Agricultural District, subject to criteria provided in Article XXV; and 3) to permit short-term rentals as a permitted use in the General Commercial District, subject to criteria provided in Article XXV; and 4) providing criteria for short-term rentals in Article XXV; and 5) to permit military training facilities as a permitted use in the Low-Density Residential District. PUBLIC NOTICE PUBLIC HEARING UNION TOWNSHIP REZONING ORDINANCE NO. 190 YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Union Township Board of Supervisors shall convene a public hearing on December 13, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the Union Township Municipal Building to review the proposed rezoning of a property located along Interstate 81 and fronting upon State Route 72 and Bohns Lane. That property is currently owned by Timothy E. Shuey and Debra A. Shuey and consists of approximately 8.671 acres having Tax Parcel #33-2312152-414031-0000 and is more fully described in a deed dated September 29, 2006 and recorded in the Lebanon County Recorder of Deeds Office at Deed Book 2087, Page 8603. The landowners have requested that this parcel be rezoned from its current zoning designation of Agricultural to one under the Industrial Zone of the Union Township Zoning Map. The Supervisors shall hold a public hearing regarding this request and seek comment from interested landowners of the Township regarding this rezoning request and whether it benefits the public health, safety and welfare of Township residents. Immediately after the public hearing on the same date, the Supervisors shall convene or reconvene their regular meeting, and at the regular meeting on the same day upon the conclusion of the public hearing, the Supervisors may determine to adopt Ordinance No. 190,which would rezone the property from Agricultural to Industrial, and effect an amendment to the Township Zoning Map if adopted by the Township Supervisors. This Ordinance currently reads as follows in its controlling sections: 1. The following described real property shall be rezoned from Agricultural (A) to Industrial (I) and said area is described in the ordinance as consisting of that property owned by Timothy E. Shuey and Debra A. Shuey consisting of 8.671 acres along Interstate 81, in Union Township, Lebanon County, having Tax Parcel #33-2312152-414031-0000. 2. Said parcel shall be henceforth governed by the provisions of the Union Township Zoning Ordinance relating to properties in the Industrial District including but not limited to regulations located in the Union Township Codified Ordinance, Chapter 210, Article X, Section 210-60 through Section 210-66 which specifically govern industrial uses in the Township. 3. The Union Township Zoning Map shall be amended to include the above-described parcel within the Industrial District of Union Township, and the Township's engineer is directed and authorized to effect the said changes to the official Zoning Map. 4. It is hereby expressly found that this Zoning Map amendment is conducive to the general public health, safety and welfare of the residents of Union Township. 5. The Township Solicitor shall forward a copy of this Zoning Ordinance to the Lebanon County Planning Department within 30 days after the enactment of the said Ordinance. 6. True and correct copies of the Ordinance may be reviewed at the Union Township Municipal Building located at 3111 SR 72, Jonestown, PA 17038 and at the Lebanon County Municipal Building, Law Library located at 400 South Eighth Street, Lebanon, PA 17042 during regular business hours. 7. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately as permitted by law. 8. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby expressly repealed or rescinded. 9. If any part, subpart, section or subsection of this Ordinance is found by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable or ineffective, such finding shall have no effect upon the remaining parts, subparts, sections and subsections of this Ordinance. 10. The Ordinance shall become effective as permitted by law.
